Little Cello - A Love Story 

Kath and Stu’s story began with a collaboration of their two great loves: chocolate and gin. Before their project saw the light of day, life took them in different directions. Kath moved to a new job, and Stu focused on securing a cellar door for his burgeoning business. Despite the distance, they kept in touch through social media, where Stu showed a keen interest in Kath's homemade Limoncello passion.

Stu, ever the thoughtful one, saw an opportunity to impress Kath. He offered his quality triple-distilled vodka to enhance her Limoncello. Kath accepted, and the result was a smashing success. Their friendship blossomed from there, and by Christmas Eve, their shared love for chocolate and handcrafted spirits culminated in their first kiss.

Stu made no secret of his desire for Kath to join him at Little Juniper. Within their second week of working together, they embarked on a monumental task: picking the finest Adelaide Hills lemons. As they peeled thousands of lemons, the arduous task was lightened by the joy and excitement of their blossoming romance.

And so, Little Cello Limoncello was born—a testament to their love and dedication. It's both a romantic story and a labour of love, proving that sometimes, the best things in life come from the perfect blend of passion, perseverance, and a little bit of lemon zest.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our "Liquid Gold" Little Juniper Little Cello - Limoncello took home a gold medal for Cello Liqueur (Liqueur) at the Melbourne Royal 2024 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards. 

We’re also thrilled to announce that our Little Juniper Little Cello - Limoncello won a Gold Medal and Best in Class for Fruit Liqueur at the 2024 Tasting Australia Spirit Awards!
